Fujiwara Shurine
This shrine was established during the Taisho era by merging Hie Shrine and Arajin Shrine, which were located within the Fujiwara region, and enshrines Oyamatsumi-no-Mikoto and three other deities.

At the annual festival on August 10th, a lion kagura dance based on Ise Kagura is performed. Today, few places hold this annual event, and it has been designated an intangible cultural property of the city.

Also on the grounds is a monument commemorating the reclamation of Heisaura, erected in 1910, which tells the story of the hardships faced by the local people as they battled the flying sand of Heisaura.
